MSCBA funded campus center project.

Colliers Project Leaders provided project management services during the multi-phased renovation of Fitchburg State University’s Hammond Campus Center which includes the Amelia V. Gallucci-Cirio Library, a game room, a bistro, and a bookstore. This multi-year project started construction in 2010. The project was funded through the Massachusetts College Building Authority (MSCBA), Massachusetts Department of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM), and Fitchburg State University.

As owner’s project manager, during the design phase we were responsible for preparing, maintaining, and distributing a project master schedule incorporating the design, construction, and permitting activities of the project. In addition, we developed and managed the project budget, conducted pre-bid meetings, reviewed design drawings and specifications, and coordinated early construction work. During the construction phase, we maintained project records, continuously monitored construction, investigated all proposed change orders, and submitted monthly progress reports to the University.
